The Beauty Booking Problem
Nail techs, lash artists, brow masters, hair stylists and barbers live in Instagram DMs: "Is Thursday free?", "Can you do 6 PM?", "How much for a fill?". Every appointment costs a conversation, evening messages eat personal time, and no-shows burn the most valuable thing you sell — a slot that cannot be resold once it is gone.
What Changes with a Booking Page
- Clients book themselves. Your Instagram bio link shows real availability. The 11 PM scroller books a slot instantly instead of waiting for your reply.
- Deposits kill no-shows. Require a deposit or full payment at booking. Clients who pay show up — see how prepaid bookings reduce no-shows.
- Reminders go out automatically. Email reminders before the appointment mean fewer "omg I forgot" messages.
- Your client base builds itself. Every booking saves the client (name, phone, email, visit history) into your contact list — export to CSV anytime.
Set It Up in 15 Minutes
1. Create an event type per service
"Manicure + gel — 90 min", "Lash fill — 60 min", "Mens cut — 45 min". Set the exact duration plus buffer time after each appointment for cleanup and photos. Guide: creating your first booking page.
2. Set your address and hours
Choose In person as the location and enter your studio address — it is included in every confirmation, so "where are you located?" answers itself. Block lunch breaks and days off in your weekly schedule.
3. Connect payments for deposits
Connect Stripe, PayPal, Square or Mollie and set a price on paid services. For deposits, create the service at deposit price (for example 20% of the full cost) and note the remainder is paid in person. Setup: accepting payments for bookings.
4. Put the link everywhere clients find you
Instagram bio (full walkthrough: booking link in Instagram bio), a "BOOK 📅" Highlight, the Link sticker in Stories showing fresh work, and a saved DM reply with the link.
5. Turn on instant notifications
Get a Telegram or WhatsApp ping for every new booking, reschedule or cancellation — without keeping the laptop open.
Collect the Info You Need Before the Visit
Add custom questions to the booking form: "First visit or a fill?", "Any allergies?", "Reference photo link". You get the answers before the client sits in the chair, and consultations stop eating appointment time.
When You Grow into a Salon
Meetario scales with you: invite masters as team members, give each their own booking page and services, or use round-robin to auto-distribute "any available master" bookings. Client contacts stay in one shared account base.
