How to Sync Yahoo Calendar with Meetario

Why Yahoo Calendar + Meetario

Yahoo Calendar is still used by millions of people. If you rely on Yahoo for email and calendar, connecting it to Meetario means your bookings appear in Yahoo Calendar and your busy times are respected when guests try to book.

How It Works

Yahoo Calendar supports the CalDAV protocol. Meetario connects to Yahoo's CalDAV server using an app password to sync events in both directions.

Step 1: Generate a Yahoo App Password

  • Go to your Yahoo Account Security page.
  • Click Generate app password (you may need to enable two-step verification first).
  • Select Other app and enter "Meetario" as the app name.
  • Copy the generated password.

Step 2: Connect in Meetario

  • Go to /app/integrations and find Yahoo Calendar.
  • Click Connect and enter your Yahoo email and the app password.
  • Meetario verifies the CalDAV connection and lists your calendars.
  • Select the calendar to sync bookings to.

What Gets Synced

  • New bookings appear as events in your Yahoo Calendar.
  • Cancellations remove the event from Yahoo Calendar.
  • Meetario reads your Yahoo Calendar events to show accurate availability on your booking page.

Troubleshooting

  • Regular Yahoo passwords do not work — you must use an app password.
  • Two-step verification must be enabled on your Yahoo account to generate app passwords.
  • If sync stops working, regenerate the app password and reconnect.
